India Cows
It wasn´t until I got to Rishikesh that I understood why the cow is considered holy by Hindus. Which is strange since it is so obvious; it is a truly beautiful, serene and magnificent animal. When I realized the beauty of the cow, it became my new “photo-project”. Every time I saw a cow (which is rather often in India, they are everywhere; all the time) I started rummaging in my bag looking for the camera (I got soooo many pictures of cows now!). People probably thought I was a nutter since I showed such a fascination for the cows and was constantly taking pictures of them. It didn’t take me long to realize that if you put a camera in front of a cow he wants to smell it, which leads to an (according to me) awesome picture (if you manage to click it in that millisecond when it turns out well).
